Is Lizzo vegan?

The 34-year-old has been vegan since around May 2020. She had already been vegetarian for seven years before deciding to embark on a fully plant-based diet.

She announced her transition to a fully vegan diet on TikTok, sharing videos of herself making vegan Ben & Jerry’s bread, plant-based snacks for Juneteenth, and other vegan recipes.

“Being plant-based and vegan has been pretty easy except for when I’m hungover. I used to crave cheesy eggs, so here is my substitute,” she said in one clip.

In another videothe star shared what she eats in a day as a vegan, including a green breakfast smoothie, kale salad, hummus, vegan Cheeto alternative and mushroom balls.

“As a new vegan I’m enjoying exploring flavors from plants and plant-based proteins! Every journey is personal and deserves to be celebrated,” she wrote in the caption.

Singer celebrates six months of veganism

Lizzo celebrated six months of veganism on TikTok in October 2020 by comparing two videos of herself at different stages of her life.

In the first video, she is making a “stale donut poundcake milkshake type concoction” in a blender, and in the second, she is making a vegan protein shake.

“Honestly, I am both of these women and I cannot condemn one woman or the other. I’m happy both ways and right now, this is what’s bringing me joy,” she said.

The singer continued: “This was met at the beginning of quarantine. Happy, loving myself, dancing and you know what? I’m still that happy girl, loving myself and loving my body.”

“Love yourself at all stages in your life because you are who you are.”

Kourtney Kardashian advertises Daring chicken

Lizzo isn’t the only celebrity who has advertised Daring’s chicken products recently. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker did a whole campaign for the brand!

The photo shoot went viral on Twitter thanks to the bizarre shots. In one picture, Kourtney is wearing a red mini-dress and Travis is topless as they pose on a bed surrounded by Daring products and meals.

Another funny image sees them sitting on a kitchen floor staring lovingly at each other as they pull vegan chicken from the fridge.

Speaking about why she wanted to participate in the campaign, Kourtney said: “I’m not fully vegan, but Travis has helped me keep to a mostly plant-based diet, which is so much easier with Daring.”

“I honestly cannot believe how much it tastes like chicken. There are a lot of plant proteins out there, but we’re always looking for options that are super clean with all-natural ingredients,” she continued.

Her husband Travis Barker has been vegan for 33 years and hasn’t eaten meat since he was 13 years old, so the partnership with Daring “felt so right” for him.

“Daring is awesome,” he said. “When I went fully vegan 15 years ago, the options were basically straight vegetables, so I’m excited to see more plant-based choices on menus.”
