Does Wetherspoon do vegans and vegetarian meals?

More and more people in the UK are following a meat-free diet – currently 14% of adults, or 7.2million people. As a result, many restaurants, cafes and pubs are increasing the number of meat-free options on their menus.

There are around 3.3million vegetarians (6%), 2.4million pescatarians (5%) and 1.6million vegans (3%) – a number which is growing rapidly, especially among the younger generations. A YouGov survey showed that 63% of the country’s vegans and 46% of the vegetarians only adopted the lifestyle in the last five years.

Meat-free diets are becoming much easier and accessible for Brits, both in the supermarkets and when eating out. We took a look at the Wetherspoon menu to see what the popular pub chain has on offer for vegans and vegetarians. Prices may vary by location but are given below for Torquay’s Wetherspoon pub, The Green Ginger.
